We have been successful elsewhere but have chosen to work here. We are fortunate to have a team with such diverse experience. We approach each project holistically, so the long-term vision is always present. We’re all quick studies, all smart problem solvers and have spent our careers building both large and small brands globally and locally.

Greg Monaco, Partner, Strategy
Pretty much everyone can say they’ve kicked a soccer ball. How many, though, can say they’ve done it for a living? Greg Monaco can. But playing professionally for the Tampa Bay Rowdies after graduating from the University of Tampa with B.A. in Communication and Filmmaking isn’t his only claim to fame. Before founding Monaco Lange, he’d made a name for himself as a Senior Copywriter Ogilvy & Mather by creating simple, tangible, practical, beautiful advertising and marketing. How? By melding market research and brand strategy with great ideas. It’s what he’s done for clients like IBM, American Express, Circle K, Open Skies and others. Greg is also a founding member of SpiritBus, an organization bringing spirituality and business together for the benefit of all. He is also a member of YogiCEO, a group designed to bring social cause projects to life.
Colin Lange, Partner, Strategy
Creative talent, business acumen, and a human touch. Colin Lange brings all his talents to every project. Before launching Monaco Lange in 2001, Colin cut his teeth at iXL, Cox Interactive Media, Ogilvy & Mather, and at Change Technology Partners, where he was Chief Creative Officer. Harper’s Bazaar, Purina, Labaton Sucharow, and The City College of New York and countless others—Colin’s talents fuel successful campaigns. And it’s no wonder. He has B.F.A. from Syracuse University, a M.B.A. from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, and over 10 years of experience in brand strategy, advertising and design. Whatever the initiative, Colin’s experience helps make it a success. Colin's other pursuits include chairing Career Gear, a nonprofit organization created to give formerly incarcerated men a suit and a second chance at a respectable career.
Tessa Tinney, Partner, Creative Director
Tessa Tinney understands clients, and it’s not just because she’s pursuing an M.A. in Psychology. It’s because she has client-side experience on top of her wealth of work at agencies such as the Sterling Group. As founding partner of Monaco Lange, she not only understands a client’s desires, she understands a client’s needs. And it’s this insight that enables Tessa to successfully combine strategic sensibilities with innovative design. It’s one of the reasons why she always creates inspiring, impactful work—no matter the medium. Showcased by Salomon Smith Barney, Citibank, Sony, among others, Tessa’s work has been awarded for excellence in design by Forbes, Mobius, and WMA. She’s ready to make great work for you. Tessa is also active as the chair for the marketing committee for CASA of Union County, NJ—an organization that advocates on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system.
Jennifer Zanfardino, Brand Planner
A unique, marketable brand identity. Not something most high schoolers think about when filling out an application for college. That’s why they turned to Jenn. Prior to joining Monaco Lange, Jennifer honed her branding skills as, of all things, an Educational Consultant. She’d help students identify their distinct attributes and build an application that highlighted their strengths, skills, and expertise. Her efforts paid off. She had students accepted to every Ivy League university, MIT, Georgetown, Duke, and other prestigious schools. As a Junior Buyer for Network Television at Zenith Media, she built on her talents of campaign management, which she now puts to use on each and every project. Building a brand, making it marketable, and keeping all the pieces in order. Jennifer graduated from Connecticut College with degrees in English and Economics.
Douglas Light, Copywriter
The client relationship is a big part of all campaigns, and Douglas knows a thing or two about account service. Before turning to the creative side, he worked as an Account Executive at Rapp Collins, Grey Worldwide, and Oglivy Interactive on projects for IBM, WebMD, and Chase among others. But the allure of the written word propelled him to get his M.A. in Creative Writing and English from City College of New York. Both professionally and personally, Douglas’ writing has received kudos. In 2003, he received the prestigious O. Henry Prize for his short fiction, and in 2007 received the Benjamin Franklin Award for Fiction for his debut novel, which is also being shot as a full-length feature film. Whatever your campaign goal, he crafts copy that’s engaging, clear, and compelling.
Pasquale Cardinale, Senior Designer
The first thing people ask when Pasquale introduces himself is, “What’s your name again?” Renowned for his ability to grow a lumberjack beard in a matter of days, Pasquale brings a clear sense of freshness and brand sensibilities to every design he creates. Prior to joining Monaco Lange, he stockpiled his arsenal of multiple talents at South Florida’s second largest ad agency. With clients like Elle Magazine, Godiva Chocolatier, Citigroup, Yachts of Seabourn and many others, Pasquale has visually articulated the client’s core message. He creates brands that are clean, engaging, and instantly memorable. Pasquale graduated from University of Connecticut with a BFA in Graphic Design.
